24 Hour Emergency Cover
We ensure there is an experienced equine vet available to care for your horse 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. To this end we collaborate with Charlie at Cadence Equine Vets and Equicall to ensure cover at all times.

Routine Visits Without The Owner Present
Uniquely, we can offer routine visits for vaccinations, dentistry or blood sampling without you present if your commitments hinder appointment making. This is due to the employment of our full time Veterinary Technician, Georgia. We just require the patient to be stabled, with the passport available, and prior consent given (Not suitable for vet phobic patients). There is NO EXTRA FEE for this service, however, we will come at our convenience on the day of the booking.

Routine Health Care
We routinely health check our patients at vaccination to identify issues that may be underlying.
Vaccinations
We offer start up courses and boosters for flu and tetanus. We can also do EHV vaccinations if required.
Medical Investigations
We have the experience to address any medical concerns you may have regarding your horse.
Gastroscopy
We have a fully portable gastroscope, suitable for scoping the stomachs of everything from small ponies to large horses for the diagnosis and management of equine gastric ulcer syndrome.
Endoscopy
We have a fully portable airway endoscope for the diagnosis of upper and lower airway disease, as well as guttural pouch sampling for Strep Equi (strangles) testing.
Lameness Investigations
We carry out lameness investigations for may common conditions and have invested in the latest technology to allow battery powered horse side imaging of problem areas – both ultrasound and radiography. If the problem is more complex, we work closely with Charlie at Cadence Equine Vets and can organise her to visit your horse if a detailed lameness or chiropractic assessment is needed.
Laboratory Services
We use specialist laboratories that provide fast accurate results within 24 hours of sending a sample. Using an external laboratory also provides us with the opinion of some of the country’s top veterinary pathologists and internal medicine experts.
Dentistry
Anna has a particular interest in equine dentistry, from routine rasping through to advanced periodontal work and extractions.
Microchipping
Quick, horse-side microchipping for horses, ponies and donkeys – now a legal requirement for all equines – with help updating your passport and database records.
Worming Advice and Programmes
Targeted worm control built around faecal egg counts and tapeworm testing, so your horse is only wormed when needed – protecting both your horse and your yard from wormer resistance.
Castrations
Routine castrations carried out at your yard. We will talk you through the options beforehand and guide you through aftercare for a smooth recovery.
