About

Anna Quiggin BVSc BSc MRCVS

Director

Anna has looked after horses in Wiltshire since she qualified in 2003.  She considers herself very lucky to still be in a profession she loves, and she is hugely passionate about providing quality health care to all her patients whilst focusing on building trusted relationships with her clients.

She is skilled in all aspects of equine first opinion ambulatory care, from wounds to ophthalmology, poor performance to medical cases and everything in between she carries out to a high standard. However, Anna believes the most valuable skill you can possess as a first opinion vet, is knowing when a problem requires a specialist! To this end, she has a long list of specialist veterinary surgeon contacts to call upon, should the need arise.

Anna has a particular interest in equine dentistry, and strongly believes in being her patients advocate when problems may be hiding within the mouth. Having completed 2 BEVA advanced dentistry courses and worked alongside experienced equine dental vets for the last 20 years, she is competent with all routine dental procedures, as well as the more advanced periodontal work or extractions often required in some patients.

Nikki Waterman

Senior Vet

After graduating from the University of Bristol Nikki went on to complete an internship at an equine referral hospital in Berkshire. From there she moved into first opinion ambulatory practice in Wiltshire where she found her real passion, working closely with owners as well as her equine patients.

Nikki enjoys all aspects of first opinion practice and the huge variety it brings, however she is particularly interested in wound management and medicine.

When not at work Nikki is busy running around after her three young boys and looking after her three retired ponies. When time allows she enjoys going for long walks with her dog Nala.

Georgia Fuke

Veterinary Technician

Georgia has always had a passion for animals and an interest in science and medicine, where she chose studies to reflect that from an early age. She has a small animal veterinary nursing background, coupled with many years of experience around horses. Originally this was with racing thoroughbreds, so her horse handling is second to none! She has since worked in many roles within the animal sector but really found what she loved within the veterinary industry. She enjoys all aspects of her job, especially working with so many different horses. She does have a real soft spot for small breed equines and donkeys though – so watch out, because as one of Wiltshires “Strong Women” she might just carry yours off!
